Rare & Refined Campaign

The Rare & Refined campaign for Portlander aims to elevate the restaurant’s reputation as Wellington’s premier steakhouse, emphasizing its commitment to exceptional, locally-sourced meats and a refined dining atmosphere. The project focuses on creating a visually striking digital and print campaign that highlights Portlander’s signature offerings to appeal to steak lovers and connoisseurs. The design focused on the tag with its artisanal texture evoking the tactile intimacy of a butcher’s craft. Bound by a rugged rope—a nod to the traditional binding of fine meats—this element ties the design together, symbolizing the primal connection between source and plate. The composition, with its earthy hues and raw elegance, invites the viewer into Portlander’s world of curated excellence.
